Design, develop, optimize, and test RF subsystems and components, ensuring compliance with performance specifications and system requirements.
Ensure designs meet product lifecycle requirements, including reliability, environmental, and cost constraints.
Perform RF simulations and modeling to analyze system performance and optimize designs.
Participate in system integration and test efforts, providing support for both lab tests and field trials
Conduct system-level testing and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
Provide clear and thorough documentation of hardware architecture, design decisions, and test results.
SUPPORTING ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, mechanical engineers, software teams and algorithms specialists to ensure project success
Document testing processes, results, and system behavior during the validation phases, ensuring comprehensive traceability.
Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of radar hardware designs and integration processes, enabling easy understanding and future modifications.
Identify technical risks during development and propose mitigation strategies to avoid delays or performance issues.
Keep up to date with the latest RF and radar technologies and industry trends.
Training of less experienced team members.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 10 years of experience in RF engineering with strong focus in radar or EW applications.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
A Master's or a Ph.D. degree is a plus with preference given to the highest qualification.
Strong knowledge of RF principles and radar theory, including doppler frequency modulation, pulse compression and beamforming.
Deep understanding of radar physics and RF techniques.
Background in high-power RF systems and considerations for radar.
Proficiency with simulation tools such as CST, AWR, or ANSYS HFSS
