Sr. Quantity Surveyor (mep)
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Cost Estimation & Budgeting
Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
Assist in budget preparation and cost planning during pre-construction.
BOQ Preparation
Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) specific to MEP works based on drawings and specs.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of MEP measurements.
Tendering & Procurement
Evaluate subcontractor bids and tenders for MEP packages.
Assist in procurement strategies and negotiations with suppliers/subcontractors.
Contract Administration
Manage contracts and subcontracts related to MEP works.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and handle variations/claims.
Cost Control & Reporting
Track project costs, monitor budgets, and report cost performance.
Identify and control cost deviations from the approved budget.
Valuations & Payments
Evaluate and certify monthly payment applications from MEP subcontractors.
Conduct site inspections for work progress validation.
Change Management
Assess variations/changes in design and scope.
Provide cost implications and negotiate variations.
Final Account & Close-Out
Prepare final accounts and ensure all commercial matters are settled at project closure.
Also IPC billing for each site & Monthly closing out
Immediate joiners are preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
