Job Summary: Looking for a SR. Quantity Surveyor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

Prepare site-related documents with the use of Microsoft Office software
Offer support on all financial and contractual matters throughout project work
Handle financial and contractual aspects of the project
Ensure all cost and quantity records are streamlined and kept in order
Analyze the unit rates for new work items
Manage the preparation of variation orders
Maintain prompt submittal and completeness of contractors\' monthly payment applications and finalize the payment certificates
Advise the SRE and REs on measurement procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities
Record and prepare the minutes of the progress meetings

Job Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor\'s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field with more than 15 years f experience in Quantity Surveying on major road, highway and general infrastructure projects in the Gulf region
Must be a qualified chartered Quantity Surveyor by a recognized international body such as the Chartered Institute of Buildings (CIOB) or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
Strong experience in preparing Bills of Quantities, cost estimates and the management of claims required
Must have good knowledge of contractual relationships
Must be computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports etc
Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills
Good communication skills
