1. Responsible for estimating the quantities and cost of various works/ work packages directly from the drawings and specifications. Also to coordinate with the Consultants and Project Managers in the related field.
2. Certifying the contractor\'s/consultant\'s payment invoices at regular intervals like monthly. Processing the payments in the Oracle systems and obtaining related reports from the system.
3. Evaluating the Variation Order requests from the Consultants, Contractors and Suppliers. Processing the approved Variations Orders in the Oracle system.
4. Estimating/Costing/ Analysis of various tender packages related to appointing consultants, contractors, suppliers etc. Estimating/costing of New projects and Negotiated Tender packages.
5. Performing contracts administration which includes, claim management, contractual communications, knowledge management related to commercial and contracts.
6. Develop & plan to source various competent contractors, consultants and suppliers for partnering in the future projects and manage the existing ones through current market analysis, effective negotiation and liaison. Identify the sources of various materials and PC rate items.
7. Coordinate with the Project Managers, Consultants, Senior QS etc. in the areas pertaining to the procurement of the contract packages, particularly, PS and PC rate packages, This includes Identifying the procurement requirements, preparing the tender schedule, tender process, post award clarifications, meetings etc.


Requirements

Education
Civil Engineering degree from a recognized University and/or professional qualification in a related discipline.
AutoCAD certificate & QS certificate
Experience

5-7 years of relevant experience in the real estate/Project Development/Consultancy Industry, handling large building and infrastructure projects/ mixed use developments, in the field of cost management, Quantity Surveying, contracts administration etc. Must have Experience on making the cost estimate of building packages (structure, finishes, M&E etc.) and dealing with specialized agencies/sub contractor packages which include tendering, negotiations etc.
Experience with large and reputed Properly Developers, in the above fields, would be preferable.

  • Good knowledge of market rates/price of materials and various construction works, tendering process, local conditions and current trends.
