Job Description

v Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related document v Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. v Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information v Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. v Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. v Maintain cost database, floating inquiries to subcontractors and suppliers. v Attend progress meetings and provide updates to the Client with projection of costs as required; Visit Site as and when required to monitor progress, Preparing Payment Application/progress payment claim against Value of Work done for measured works, Variations/Change orders, Material On-Site/Off-Site, Fluctuations, Special payments in accordance with the contract.
Desired Candidate Profile
v Education: Bachelor's degree in QS or equivalent v Experience: Technically oriented professional with at least a minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Interior Fitout industry. v Having experience in material handling, estimation and procurement will be an added advantage Other: Excellent abilities in MS Office Excellent communication skills Organized, self-motivated, and creative Team player with a positive attitude to go the extra mile Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
