Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for civil works.
Manage and administer contracts, including measurement, variations, and claims.
Monitor project costs and progress against budgets.
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress and verify contractor claims.
Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on project requirements.
Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and regulations.
Provide commercial advice and cost analysis to support project decision-making.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate competitive rates.
Prepare monthly valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities.
Lead and mentor junior QS staff when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil building construction projects.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CCS, Candy, Excel).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
