We are seeking an experienced

Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS)

with specific expertise in

aluminum facade systems

to manage and oversee the cost and contractual aspects of facade works on high-rise and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of facade systems, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex contracts and high-value packages.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for aluminum facade works including curtain walling, cladding, louvers, and other related systems. Administer contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements including FIDIC or other standard forms. Perform cost planning, budgeting, and value engineering in the pre- and post-contract phases. Evaluate and manage variations, claims, and changes to scope. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify subcontractor measurements. Prepare and present interim payment applications and final accounts. Liaise with project teams, consultants, clients, and suppliers to resolve commercial and contractual issues. Ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting. Provide input to procurement strategies and support tender evaluations. Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and local regulations. Mentor and guide junior QS staff as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum

8-10 years

of experience in quantity surveying with at least

5 years focused on aluminum facade systems

. Strong knowledge of curtain walling, unitized systems, stick systems, ACP cladding, structural glazing, etc. Proficient in using QS and project management software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, MS Excel, ERP systems). Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and local construction law. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS, AIQS, CIOB) is an advantage. Experience working with facade contractors or specialty subcontractors. Knowledge of sustainable facade materials and systems.
