Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, Equivalency Certificate is must
Experience:
7-10 years in QS roles, with at least 3-5 years in senior positions within UAE construction projects
Strong knowledge of
construction contracts (FIDIC, JCT, NEC)
Proficiency in
MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Primavera)
Analytical and negotiation skills for cost control and contract management
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Familiarity with
UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to support project planning.
Monitor project costs against budgets and highlight variances.
Prepare tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and contract conditions.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness.
Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.
Track project expenditures and certify progress payments.
Manage variations, change orders, and claims.
Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and project financials.
Support project managers with financial insights for decision-making.
Ensure adherence to UAE construction laws, codes, and VAT regulations.
Implement best practices in cost management and contract administration.
