Key Responsibilities:
Develop project-specific ITPs, WPS, and work procedures
Review vendor documentation, participate in technical meetings, and evaluate bids
Conduct vendor audits and internal quality audits
Lead a multidisciplinary team of QA/QC inspectors (Civil, Mechanical, E&I)
Ensure compliance with project codes, standards, and specifications
Conduct stage-wise inspections and walk-downs; ensure closure of punch points
Monitor site activities and provide continuous quality surveillance
Prepare weekly/monthly quality reports and approve final quality dossiers
Technical Expertise Required:
Welding, weld overlay, NDE, fabrication, painting, erection, and inspection of piping, steel structures, and static equipment
Familiarity with ASME U Stamp & R Stamp certification inspections
Proficiency in interpreting and applying international codes & standards
Qualifications:
Mandatory
Preferred
Bachelor's in mechanical/metallurgical engineering
ADNOC project experience
Min. 15 years' Oil & Gas project experience
ADNOC approval as Sr. QA/QC Engineer or Lead QA/QC
CSWIP 3.2 Certification
BGAS Grade 2 / Painting Inspection Certification
ASNT Level II (RT, UT, MT, PT)
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
