About the role:
The Product Assurance Manager will lead the implementation of rigorous quality and reliability frameworks across FADA's space systems portfolio, ensuring mission assurance from concept through launch. This role is critical to safeguarding the integrity of satellite platforms, payloads, and ground systems by embedding product assurance best practices throughout the engineering lifecycle. The ideal candidate will drive a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement within one of the UAE's most advanced space technology entities.
Key Responsibilities
Product Assurance & Quality Management

• Develop and maintain Product Assurance Plans aligned with ECSS or NASA standards and AS9100 requirements
• Oversee quality assurance across design, integration, testing, and launch phases of satellite systems
• Define and monitor quality KPIs for space hardware, avionics, propulsion, and ground control systems
• Lead root cause analysis and non-conformance investigations for flight-critical components
• Manage internal audits, supplier assessments, and corrective action programs

Reliability & Risk Engineering

• Apply RAMS methodologies (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) to ensure system robustness
• Conduct FMEA/FMECA and fault tree analysis for spacecraft subsystems and payloads
• Collaborate with engineering teams to mitigate technical risks and enhance product reliability
• Maintain risk registers and contribute to Go/No-Go decisions for mission-critical milestones

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure alignment with ECSS, ISO 9001, AS9100, and UAE space regulatory frameworks
• Support export control and ITAR compliance in collaboration with legal and governance teams
• Prepare documentation for regulatory audits, client inspections, and mission assurance reviews

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
• 8+ years of experience in product assurance, quality, or reliability roles within the space sector
• Proven expertise in ECSS or NASA standards, space-grade hardware testing, and lifecycle quality management
• Strong analytical skills in RAMS, FMEA, and risk mitigation strategies
• Experience with quality tools and systems (e.g., SAP DMS, NCR tracking, configuration control)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams
