Senior Producer - Public Liberties & Human Rights
Al Jazeera Media Network are seeking a Senior Producer to join the Public Liberties & Human Rights team. You will be responsible for reporting and production from the field, in-house news scripts and graphics.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, write and edit stories under the supervision of Executive Producer and head of PLHR news and programs' production. Produce accurate, impartial, informative, up-to-date news stories and packages. Ensure content and coverage is consistent with Aljazeera standards. Read in and have an overview of international updates through all available sources (news wires,other agencies, newspapers ...etc.). Participate in the editorial meeting and propose ideas on what news stories need more coverage and content development. Suggest creative story ideas. Prioritize writing tasks to deliver stories on time Produce packages in the field if required.Education:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Law, Journalism, Media, Communication or other related fields.
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in writing, producing and reporting in a newsroom as a journalist.
