Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer - Planning to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful planning and execution of construction projects, working collaboratively with project managers and team members to deliver high-quality results.

Develop and maintain project schedules using advanced planning software such as Primavera Review and analyze procurement and construction programs for contractors and subcontractors Prepare comprehensive progress reports, graphs, and critical path analyses for weekly and monthly reporting Monitor actual progress against construction programs and report deviations to senior management Assist in identifying project risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines Collaborate closely with site supervision teams to gather real-time progress updates Conduct independent site visits to evaluate contractor progress against established programs Support the evaluation of potential additional works and variation proposals Maintain detailed records of program monitoring to support claim evaluations and dispute resolutions Assist in workshops and meetings to facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

8+ years of experience in roads construction or related works Proficiency in Primavera or similar project management software Strong understanding of construction methodologies and best practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in scheduling and reporting Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience in the Middle East construction industry preferred Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards is a plus Willingness to conduct regular site visits and work in a dynamic project environment
