Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent). Provide planning and scheduling expertise to project teams and clients. Analyze project progress and identify potential delays or risks; propose mitigation strategies. Interface with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables. Participate in preparation and review of baseline schedules, recovery plans, and time impact analysis (TIA). Monitor and report on project performance through dashboards and progress reports (weekly/monthly). Ensure all planning and scheduling activities are compliant with contractual and client requirements. Provide input for claims, extension of time (EOT) submissions, and forensic delay analysis when required. Support tender planning and feasibility studies during proposal stages. Lead meetings and presentations related to scheduling and planning deliverables. Mentor and guide junior planning engineers.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum

10 years

of experience in planning, scheduling, and project control--preferably with a consultancy. Proficient in

Primavera P6

, MS Project, and Excel. Strong understanding of project management principles and engineering contracts (e.g., FIDIC). Demonstrated experience in handling complex infrastructure or construction projects. Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills. PMP or PSP certification is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

Consultancy or client-side background. Experience across multiple project types (infrastructure, buildings, industrial). Knowledge of BIM integration with planning tools (4D planning) is an advantage. Previous involvement in arbitration or dispute resolution processes is beneficia
