A leading developer in Abu Dhabi is currently in search of a Senior Officer specializing in Urban Design to join their rapidly expanding organization. Black & Grey HR has been entrusted with the task of recruiting for this position. As the successful candidate, you will assume a pivotal role in the review, assessment, and approval of master plan design deliverables at various stages of the master plan process. Your primary responsibilities will encompass the following:

- Thoroughly examine, process, and evaluate the urban design aspects of planning and related applications, including conducting site inspections, engaging in negotiations, fulfilling conditions, and preparing reports for committee review and reports delegated to the officer\'s authority.

- Oversee the implementation of approved schemes to ensure compliance with agreed-upon planning consents.

- Review master plan deliverables throughout all stages of the process, while being familiar with the planning requirements established by the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipality and Transportation (DMT), such as the Vision, Planning Concept Master Plan (PCMP), Framework,

- Comprehensive Master Plan (CMP), and Detailed Master Plan (DMP).

- Evaluate drawing submissions to ensure alignment with project brief specifications.

- Ensure adherence to the requirements set forth by the DMT and other relevant stakeholders.

- Regularly provide design guidance.

- Support the scoping of projects during the tendering phase for third-party design firms.

Requirements

To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:

- A Bachelor\'s Degree in Master Planning and Design, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture, accompanied by at least 7 years of experience in master planning and/or urban design across various asset classes, preferably with large-scale consultants or developers.

- Proficiency in envisioning and sketching master plans and urban designs (both by hand and digitally), as well as using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

- Proficiency in creating master plan and urban design diagrams using software such as Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. - Experience in creating and writing reports using Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint

- Experience in landscape architecture visioning and conceptualization, including hand sketching and using Adobe Photoshop.
