Job Description
engineer will design, implement, maintain, and support our customers\' growing network infrastructure. This exciting opportunity will be part of a systems engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.
1. Cisco & Juniper routing & switching, Nexus, Wireless LAN
2. Data Center Technology: ACI, DNA-C (SDA)
3. SD-WAN \xe2\x80\x93 Cisco Viptela, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Versa, Prisma
Core experience implementing network (MLAN, WLAN, Riverbed, MPLS VPN, QOS, Routing Protocols, SDWAN).
Basic knowledge Ansible/Python Scripting, Linux will be preferred.
Good knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements
Contract length: 24 months Salary: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills and be able to work with others to resolve issues
- Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company\xe2\x80\x99s security team
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Work with Base Support Team to manage Computers, Phones, Printers, Network and Communication Equipment, Software, Software Licensing, etc.
- Work with other organizations to maintain classified computing networks and computers including
- Work with Government Personnel as required in planning network changes, upgrades, and expansions
- Plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components.
- Resolve interoperability issues across platforms to supporting hardware acquisition
- Determine and support Internetworking service requirements for switched networks
- Implement network systems and subsystems and associated hardware and software.
- Apply advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise;
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrate an aptitude and appetite for learning new technologies, evidenced by the ability to expand upon core knowledge
- Able to identify problems and provide inputs to resolve the network related issues.
- Seek appropriate level of guidance and advice to ensure delivery of quality outcomes.
- Regularly participate in projects/activities as a contributing team member.
- Actively acquire more complex skills, techniques, operating practices, knowledge of abstract concepts to progress towards full proficiency in networking technologies
- Positive & learning attitude, Customer centric, good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Engineering Degree/Equivalent in Telecommunications field, preferred
- Min. 8-12 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in core enterprise network and MPLS VPN.
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA, SD-WAN, Riverbed, Cisco Wireless LAN
