Job Description
Urgent requirement for a Sr. Network Engineer. Candidates currently available in UAE preferred. The candidates should :
- You will be part of a team of engineers to manage, troubleshoot and optimize the network infrastructure so that it is highly available, secure and fit-for-purpose for the organization\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.
- Have effective verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, communication skills.
- Build and maintain relationships with key executives, business personnel, SME.
- Experience working in multi-locational project environment.
- Must be a team player, who is self-motivated, organized and pays strict attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hands on experience on Core, Distribution and Access Switching & Routing such as Cisco, Dell, Huawei, HPE & Aruba.
- Hands on experience on Aruba & Cisco - Wireless Controllers / Clear Pass Policy Manager / WiFi Access Points.
- Well versed on preparation of HLD & LLD\'s as per client\'s requirement.
- Experience administering enterprise IP networks in mission-critical, 24x7 production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in complex systems and network environments.
- In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (Static, Default, Routing Protocols like BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
- Switching Technologies: VLAN, VTP, STP, Layer 2 Security; Stacking, ACL, SNMP, Logging, NTP, DHCP, DNS, AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting), RADIUS etc
- Redundancy Solution \xe2\x80\x93 Ether Channel, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP
- VPN technologies: IPSec VPN; SSL VPN; Site to Site VPN; MPLS IP VPN.
- Firewall: Routing, NAT, ACL, Firewall Rules, Failover, WAN Load Balancing, MFA, Active-Standby or Active-Active Failover.
- Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
- Quality of Service (QOS) \xe2\x80\x93 Traffic.
- Shaping/Policing/Scheduling/Congestion Management and Avoidance.
- Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, Aruba OS etc)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology-based solutions
- To implement LAN / WAN infrastructure and interconnect systems from multiple vendors to ensure optimal performance.
- To configure networking devices, as required by the Network Architect.
- To track and monitor the system to ensure minimal service interruptions and high performance.
- To proactively identify and troubleshoot problems pertaining to the Network Infrastructure.
- To install and patch devices with recommended vendor or security updates/patches
- To support in the documentation of all relevant practices and procedures as recommended by the management.
- To support in collating information and metrics of all network related metrics.
- To develop skills and acquire additional knowledge appropriate to the position on an ongoing basis.
- To keep abreast with the latest updates that may be significant to the area of work.
- Bachelors Degree in IT / Computer Science Engineering field.
- Professional certification from Cisco / Dell / Fortinet or Aruba or other relevant certifications. Minimum of CCNP Enterprise Infrastructure or CCNP Security is mandatory.
- Years of Experience: Overall Experience of 2 - 3 Years as Network Engineer/Administrator
