As a Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing cost estimations and engineering solutions for various projects in our oil and gas division. With a focus on greenfield and brownfield developments, you will leverage your expertise to drive project efficiency and cost-effectiveness, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
? Develop detailed mechanical cost estimates for oil and gas projects, including greenfield and brownfield developments, Plant turnaround , Tank Rehabilitation and various others.
? Analyze project specifications and design drawings to determine scope requirements.
? Prepare and present detailed cost analyses and budget proposals to stakeholders.
? Evaluate project timelines, material costs, and labor requirements.
? Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to optimize cost solutions.
? Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies to minimize project overruns.
? Provide technical guidance on plant maintenance, heat exchanger management, and catalyst replacement.
? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
? Assist in the development and improvement of estimation tools and processes.
? Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on engineering modifications and improvements.
? Support the procurement process by providing insight on vendor selection and equipment specifications.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
? Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical estimation within the oil and gas industry.
? Proven expertise in greenfield and brownfield project estimation, plant maintenance, heat exchanger, and catalyst replacement.
? Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles. ? Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office .
? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams.
? Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
? Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the oil and gas sector.
