We are looking for a "SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER".

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

Senior Mechanical Engineer

to oversee, manage, and execute mechanical systems and installations on-site. This role involves hands-on supervision of construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with design, safety, and regulatory standards with the following credentials:

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise mechanical works on-site (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) per QCS 2014 and project specs Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and test reports Conduct site inspections, issue NCRs and site instructions, and supervise testing & commissioning Attend technical and coordination meetings with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders Ensure adherence to QA/QC protocols, safety standards, and project timelines Liaise with Kahramaa, Civil Defense, Ashghal,and Baladiya for inspections and approvals Mentor junior engineers and support reporting within the Supervision Department

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Master's is a plus)

10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in Qatar/GCC supervision roles MME (UPDA) registration - Grade A or B is mandatory Strong knowledge of QCS 2014, NFPA, ASHRAE, and local authority procedures Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus) Proven ability to work independently with contractors and authorities

Preferred Background:

Experience on high-rise, residential, or hospitality projects Familiarity with handover procedures and authority approvals Previous work with supervision consultancies in Qatar is an advantage

License/Certification:

MME (UPDA) with grade A or B (Preferred) QCCD (Preferred)
