To monitor, manage and provide effective and efficient Management Reporting system for effective decision making
To ensure development of Annual Budget and Forecast and play a pivotal role in development of NBF's 3-5 years Strategy to manage performance of Business and Functional Units and ensuring the bank's achieve its short, medium and long term plan
Key Accountabilities
MANAGEMENT REPORTING / BUSINESS SUPPORT
Implement a robust Management Reporting Process to support decision making effectively and efficiently
To prepare, monitor and control periodic Management Reports to facilitate Business Teams and Mancom
To support business teams with their requirements of information and providing them
Support Effective Business reviews focusing risk and opportunities, variances and corrective measures
To facilitate Chief Financial Officer in Board, Man Com, Audit and related Committee presentations
To facilitate Product Development unit in conducting product feasibilities.
To support Business Units by providing Product Profitability of new products for performance management
To support senior management in sharing financial and non-financial highlights through Benchmarking performance
BUDGET, FORECAST AND STRATEGY
Implement a robust budget and forecast process to ensure realistic targets are set for all business and functional units.
Ensure that the consolidated budget and forecast is prepared in compliance with approved policies and procedures
Assist CFO in preparation of Board Budget and Strategic Direction pack
Responsible for budgeting and forecasting activities across all businesses with active challenge and advisory focus. Facilitate Business and Functional Heads during the budgeting exercise and present findings to CFO and Management Committee
Design and support through participation in development of KPIs for business tams and provide performance management reports
Review the variance reports and remedial action plans and submit a respective assessment report

Responsible for the preparation of the policies and procedures manuals and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information with enhanced analysis.

Works with Executive - Financial Management & Planning, Business Heads, Direct reports of MANCOM. Responsible for the process of management of information and plays a pivotal role in decision making. The job involves technical complexities and understanding of reporting structure is imperative.
The positions also involves design of MIS structure and modification as determined by the circumstances
Education
Bachelors in Finance and Accounting
CA/CMA/CPA/CFA (preferable)
Experience and Skills
Work Experience
5 years post qualification experience preferably business understanding in banking industry.
Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports
Knowledge of automated Financial and accounting reporting system
Willingness to work in flexible schedules
Commercially minded with strong modelling and analysis skills
Attention to detail and ability to work logically, consistently and accurately
Excellent numeric skills combined with an inquiring, analytical mind-set
Good working knowledge of accounting information and changing financial rules and regulations
Ability to discuss financial transactions with both fellow professionals and those with no financial background
Excellent team player, self-motivator and possessing time management and project management skills
