Our client is a holding leading investment company in the UAE, seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to forecast revenues and expenditures and advise us on future budgeting.
For this role, you should hold a degree in Finance or Accounting (ideally with a CFA/MBA certification) followed by relevant work experience. Knowledge of forecasting models and cost accounting processes are key requirements for this position. You will explore investment options and set company-wide financial policies.
Ultimately, you will ensure our financial planning is healthy and profitable and aligns with business objectives.
Drafting information memorandums and due diligence reports
Perform valuation using various methods including: comparable companies, comparable transactions, discounted cash flow and internal rate of return
Prepare research reports for management and clients upon request
Research, summarize and compile management level M&A industry reports
To draft opinions and recommendations based on economic and financial research, studies and analysis
Explain to the client in advance, and upon signing the relevant agreement between the company and the client, the scope of the company\'s duty represented in simply providing the advice and consultancy to the client without guaranteeing the results
Abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities
Comply with the professional code of ethics
Maintain the required proficiency to practice financial analysis through continuous education and training; and by keeping abreast with the latest developments or updates related to the applicable international standards and practices of the profession
Prepare the financial consultation or financial analysis report in accordance with the requirements of Section 2 Article 14 of the financial consultation and financial analysis rules of the UAE SCA
Comply with the principles of objectivity, professionalism and impartiality when publishing the report or its summary or when making a statement to the media
Maintain the confidentiality of the information required not to be disclosed
Requirements
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics must be qualified CFA and / or MBA.
Experience of more than 5 years in Investment banking
Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role
Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
Familiarity with finance databases
Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
Up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations
Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
