Role summary

customer/business needs/desires/problems to drive desired outcomes and create a strategy to drive desired outcomes
\xe2\x97\x8f Lead, inspire and empower a talented group of engineers to self-organize and discover, innovate, implement, deploy and own end-to-end complex software solutions
\xe2\x97\x8f Develop and grow engineering talent through effective mentoring, coaching, and retention strategies in a hyper-growing, highly competitive economic environment
\xe2\x97\x8f Guide your team in creation of software as a solution to an end-to-end problem in your business domain and deliver value in small batches, taking into account non-functional requirements such as availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of talabat\xe2\x80\x99s services in line with our internal engineering standards.
\xe2\x97\x8f Guide your team\xe2\x80\x99s discovery, planning and execution to successfully deliver value to our customers in small batches

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in Distributed Systems Architecture (Microservices, Event-Driven, and RESTful Services)
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience building, maintaining & improving with Trunk Based Development and Continuous Delivery
\xe2\x97\x8f Solid experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and scaling of web apps and APIs
\xe2\x97\x8f Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong familiarity with the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends/emerging tech
\xe2\x97\x8f Proficient in testing with focus on automated end to end quality
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong understanding of quality, performance, monitoring, alerting and security standards
\xe2\x97\x8f Wide experience in different technology stacks, tools, and practices such as DevOps
