Job Description

Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

Install, operate, maintain and repair Low voltage system including lightning fixture, switching, power and communication/Network cabling, security system and fire alarm system.
Install, operate, maintain and repair High Voltage system including: Generators, Motors, Transformers, and HT Cabling. Switching system e.g., switch gears, circuit breakers, isolation switches, and associated accessories like contactors, relays and UPS system.
Daily operation, maintenance and inspection of electrical system with checklist documentation as per scheduled.
Testing electrical based equipment and wiring connection with test equipment like multi-meter, insulation tester and phase sequence.
Understand and read prints, schematics and report to update as built drawing.
Work closely with electrical foreman and electrical supervisor.
Perform physically demanding electrical relevant tasks, such as fixing conduits, moving or lifting heavy objects. Work from ladders, scaffold and roofs to install.
Adherence to housekeeping & safety standards,
Perform other related jobs that maybe assigned.

Ø To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies. Ø To follow safety instructions related to their jobs. Ø To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff. Ø To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions. Ø To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities. Ø To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible. Ø To attend safety trainings planned for them. Ø Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
