Key Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and calculations Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients Ensure compliance with local, state, and national engineering standards and codes Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or construction issues Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Support tendering, bidding, and contract management activities
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) 8+ years of proven experience in civil engineering projects Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent (preferred/required as per location) Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and design standards Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, ETABS, or similar) Excellent project management and leadership skills Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in infrastructure, highways, buildings, or water projects PMP or other project management certification Experience working with government or large-scale projects Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
