Sr. Accountant (arabic)

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets Monitor project costs, expenses, and profitability Handle accounts payable and receivable Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders Prepare tax filings and support audits Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Communicate financial information clearly in Arabic and English (if required)
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in the construction industry Strong knowledge of construction accounting, cost control, and project accounting Fluency in Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and project-based accounting
