Almaimana Accounting & Bookkeeping is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Accountant

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance, and will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Produce accurate, error-free accounting reports and present findings to management Analyze financial information and summarize the company's financial status Identify errors and inefficiencies; recommend improvements to processes and spending Provide technical support and advice to the Management Accountant Review and suggest modifications to current accounting systems and procedures Manage, supervise, and support accounting assistants and bookkeepers Participate in setting financial standards and assist in the forecasting process Contribute to the department's goal-setting and performance improvement plans Prepare timely financial statements and develop budgets in line with company schedules Assist in the preparation of tax audits and tax return filings Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance Plan, assign, and review the work of accounting staff Support month-end and year-end close processes Develop, document, and implement business processes and accounting policies to maintain strong internal controls

Requirements

Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role anywhere in the world Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational and leadership skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus

Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred
