Key Responsibilities
Perform
surface preparation
, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming.
Mix and match paints using
color-matching systems
to achieve accurate vehicle colors.
Apply
primer, base coat, clear coat, and finishing layers
using spray guns and related equipment.
Inspect repaired areas and ensure high-quality
paint finish without defects
(runs, orange peel, dust spots, etc.).
Repair dents, scratches, and damaged panels before painting.
Maintain all painting tools, spray guns, and workspace in clean and safe condition.
Follow proper drying and curing procedures for painted surfaces.
Work closely with
body technicians, service advisors, and workshop supervisors
to ensure timely job delivery.
Adhere to
safety guidelines
, including proper use of PPE and paint booth protocols.
Ensure all work meets
OEM standards and workshop quality requirements

Skills & Qualifications
2-5 years of experience as an
Automobile Spray Painter
in a workshop/body shop
Strong knowledge of
water-based, solvent-based paints
, clear coats, primers, and finishing techniques.
Experience with
paint booths, spray guns, polishing machines, and sanding tools
.
Excellent attention to detail and finishing quality.
Ability to identify and correct paint defects.
Knowledge of
color mixing and matching
using manual or digital color systems.
Physically fit and able to work in workshop conditions.
