Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

Automobile Spray Painter

with strong experience in vehicle painting, surface preparation, and finishing work. The candidate should be able to perform high-quality paint jobs, ensure color accuracy, and maintain workshop safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

surface preparation

, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming. Mix paint accurately according to color codes and required finish. Operate

spray guns, paint booths, and related equipment

. Conduct

full-body painting, panel painting, touch-ups, and refinishing

. Ensure color matching and smooth finishing for all vehicles. Repair minor dents, scratches, and imperfections before painting. Apply primer, base coat, clear coat, and finishing layers. Maintain proper

paint thickness and quality standards

. Inspect vehicles before and after painting for quality control. Maintain tools, paint booth cleanliness, and follow safety procedures. Report material usage, paint requirements, and any technical issues. Work with the denting, detailing, and mechanical teams for smooth flow.

Requirements

Proven experience as

Automobile Spray Painter / Automotive Painter

. Knowledge of

paint mixing, color matching, and refinishing techniques

. Ability to use sanding blocks, spray guns, polishing machines, and related tools. Familiarity with

PPG, DuPont, or other automotive paint systems

(optional). Good understanding of safety procedures and workshop standards. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Physically fit and able to handle workshop tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in

automotive workshop, bodyshop, or service center

. Diploma or certification in automotive painting (optional). Knowledge of denting work is an added advantage.
