Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric speech and language therapy. Proven skills in assessment and development of individualized therapy plans. Commitment to evidence-based, ethical, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for children with various communication needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, social communication, and feeding skills. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure effective therapy outcomes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and track therapy progress. Provide guidance to families on home programs and communication strategies.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families. Strong clinical reasoning and ability to individualize therapy. Team collaboration and flexibility. Creative and engaging therapy techniques tailored to each child.

Education

Valid DOH License (Speech Therapist/Speech-Language Pathologist). Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Additional training in pediatric feeding, AAC, or developmental speech-language disorders is an advantage.
