Job Summary:

Floorworld LLC, the largest flooring company in the Middle East, is seeking an experienced

Business Development/Specification Manager

to join our team in Dubai. This role is pivotal in driving growth through building strong relationships with architects, designers, and industry professionals, hosting engaging events such as Lunch & Learns, and leveraging our purpose-built design studio to showcase innovative flooring solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in specification sales and be passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development and Client Engagement:

o Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers to drive specification sales.

o Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored flooring solutions.

2. Specification Sales:

o Promote Floorworld's range of flooring products, ensuring specifications are integrated into large-scale projects across the residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.

o Collaborate with clients to provide technical support, product recommendations, and customized solutions.

3. Hosting Events and Networking:

o Plan and host engaging events such as Lunch & Learns, showroom tours, and product demonstrations to educate and connect with industry professionals.

o Represent Floorworld at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to promote the brand and generate new business leads.

4. Design Studio Operations:

o Utilize Floorworld's purpose-built design studio to showcase products and provide an interactive space for clients to explore flooring options.

o Ensure the studio is maintained to reflect the highest standards and serves as a hub for client meetings and presentations.

5. Market Research and Strategy:

o Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.

o Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns and promotional materials that support business development efforts.

6. Collaboration and Reporting:

o Work alongside the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

o Provide regular reports on client interactions, sales performance, and upcoming opportunities, maintaining company CRM and updating on a daily basis.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

Experience:

o Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction, interior design, or flooring industries.

o Proven success in driving specification sales and managing client relationships.

Technical Skills:

o Knowledge of flooring products, materials, and installation processes is an advantage.

o Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and presentation software.

Soft Skills:

o Exceptional communication, presentation, and networking abilities.

o Strong organizational and time-management skills.

o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
