Job Description
We are looking for a caring and compassionate Pediatric Oncologist to diagnose, care for, and treat children with cancer or blood disorders. The Pediatric Oncologist is responsible for treating infant, child, and adolescent patients and, as such, may deal with fewer cancer cases than an Oncologist and more hematologic disorders, such as leukemia, lymphoma, and sickle-cell anemia. The Pediatric Oncologist will typically treat cancer and blood disorders more with medications and chemotherapy than with surgery and radiation therapy.
To be a successful Pediatric Oncologist, you should be caring and compassionate towards children, and be hardworking and dedicated. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
