Job Overview

The

Specialist - Technology Transfer

will be responsible for facilitating the seamless transfer of pharmaceutical products and processes from development or external partners to manufacturing. This role involves evaluation, planning, execution, documentation, and collaboration to ensure smooth and compliant transfers.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate

technical dossiers

to determine

feasibility

of product transfers. Manage

Quality Management System (QMS)

activities for new product introductions. Conduct

risk assessments

to identify gaps in

materials

,

methods

,

equipment

, and

batch sizes

across different sites or third-party labs. Coordinate

sourcing of materials and tools

as per the requirements specified in the technology transfer dossiers. Participate in and support

multiple transfer projects

, maintaining focus on defined objectives. Execute and oversee

technology transfers

from other sites or contracted labs, particularly for third-party products. Prepare and review

technology transfer documentation

in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Support

pilot and scale-up batch manufacturing

, including preparation of required documentation and handling of

eQMS

activities. Serve as a liaison between

Technology Transfer Partners

and

internal stakeholders

, ensuring clear communication and successful project execution. Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by the

Tech Transfer Manager

.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline.

Experience:

Minimum of

5 years

of experience in

formulation development

and

technology transfer

of pharmaceutical dosage forms. Hands-on experience with

scale-up processes

and

transfer of pharmaceutical products

between development and commercial manufacturing sites.
