GROUP FUNCTION AND ROLE PURPOSE

This role holder is responsible for handling Collection specialist related task,

The primary objective is Automation and improvement of processes, thereby reducing the manual dependency. While other areas include coordinate with collection\'s, reconciliation of recovery payments and MIS to monitor the daily activities.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for retail banking delinquent accounts. Develop strategy on delinquent customers from product segmentation and identify the opportunity to bring delinquent accounts to cure from internal and external source of information variables
  • Responsible for the Daily MIS of collection unit detailing account performance from delinquent pool vs recovery pool. Recommend the Business on the best time of call, call intensity and new methodology to arrest the customer going delinquent
  • Managing the performance of the delinquent pool by publishing the daily collection MIS detailing the resolution performance, call intensity by Leads, Team Leads and collector. Consults with internal team or external business partners to present data and recommends actions to assist the collection objectives.
  • Design account performance DataMart to track internal MI on monthly basis business snapshot to present number active account volume and balance (New vs existing) , default bs non-default base volume and balance
  • Actively involved in aligning collection process. Propose strategies that benefits directly in collection through alternate means of communication. Also, to ensure CPR changes as rolled out by Central Bank
Is followed in collections unit.

Intellect Upgrade system - Work closely with Project team to actively monitor the implementation of new collection system, that provide automation of collection activities.
  • Streamlines excel base reporting to advanced data visualization using power bi
  • Perform Cost Benefit Analysis of Collection Department and devise strategies to ensure optimum cost controls.
  • Keeping track of NPA accounts, follow up with the team on resolutions. - Monitoring business performance and providing meaningful MIS / Analysis detailing the business performance,
  • Active involvement in the migration project of collection system Intellect and responsible for the automated queue management that define allocation of delinquent pool based on coded Rules.
  • Prepare capacity planning over risk associated to default account base by each portfolio and prepare strategy for collection by assigning collector code to indicate high risk, low risk and medium risk segmentation
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments for timely availability of data for Consumer Banking..
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline

Minimum Experience: 2-3 years

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
  • Sound banking knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of core consumer banking products
  • Strong excel skills
  • Exposure to data Analytics tools
  • Excellent presentation skills
