Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Pediatrician with a Fellowship in Neonatology to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will provide expert care for infants, children, and adolescents, with a strong focus on neonatal intensive care and management of high-risk newborns. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized medical care to pediatric and neonatal patients. Manage neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) cases, including premature and critically ill infants. Conduct routine examinations, diagnose, and treat pediatric conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care. Perform neonatal resuscitation and emergency procedures when required. Counsel and educate parents/guardians regarding child health, growth, and development. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations. Participate in on-call duties, departmental meetings, and continuous medical education. Qualifications & Experience: MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree. Specialist certification in Pediatrics. Fellowship in Neonatology (mandatory). Valid license/eligibility to practice in Oman (MOH/DHA/HAAD preferred). Minimum 1 year post-specialization experience (Gulf experience desirable). Skills & Competencies: Expertise in neonatal intensive care and pediatric emergencies. Strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
