Job Title: Specialist IT Networks
Location: EBS, Zayed Military City, Abu Dhabi
Contract: 1 year Fixed
Client: Government
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field
Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Networks and Security or related work experience
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement LAN and WAN based on latest technologies and Security standards.
• Document all network hardware, software and communication links across CLIENT and its entities
• Support the configuration of network services internally and those integrated with Internet-based services
• Assist with the administration of network systems and servers, to ensure availability of services to authorized users
• Install and configure networks across CLIENT and its entities
• Support CLIENT Group with IP Telephony related implementations and support.
• Manage the group buildings with wireless coverage and replace faulty access points
• Ensure the accurate implementation of patch management using automation toolsets
• Resolve any problems that arise with computer networks and systems
• Ensure network security and connectivity across CLIENT and its entities
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, latency, etc.) and highlight any weaknesses, if visible
• Support the management of network/ server services and documentation
• Inspect communications room status (access control, lighting, cleanliness, UPS, temperature sensor, earthling, cooling, etc.)
• Manage WAN and WLAN connectivity across CLIENT sites
• Maintain network security devices - Firewall/ VPN gateway/Email gateway/Network access control
• Automate operational tasks related configuration backup, availability reports etc.
• Perform any other duties as requested by the reporting manager
