Internal medicine doctors and specialists use scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to diagnose treatment and special care for adults across the spectrum from health to complex illnesses. The doctors have to be well trained in the diagnosis of puzzling medical issues in the ongoing care of chronic illness and the care of patients suffering from more than one disease. They specialize in health promotion and disease prevention. Internal medicine doctors are also known as internists and they may act as primary care physicians, family practitioners, or general practitioners. They provide routine checkups of patients with a condition such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and chronic lung disease. They may consult with doctors in another field of medicine or they may consult patients with another specialist. To become an internal medicine doctor, they must have completed graduation from medical school and residency in internal medicine. Internal Medicine Doctor Responsibilities and Duties:

• Treat internal disorders such as heart disease, diabetes, and problems of the lungs, brain, and kidney
• Treat chronic disease or disorder
• Administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness
• Administer non-intravenous medications
• Prescribe treatment or therapies
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatment with patients
• Manage and treat common health issues such as infection, influenza, and pneumonia
• Perform minor procedures both surgical and nonsurgical;
• Attend regular meetings involving professionals who are a part of the health care team
• Customize a treatment plan unique to each patient's symptoms and diagnosis

Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED28,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
