Support in the development of communications strategy and align with HR, OD and Corporate Strategy Departments in order to set-up a clear and integrated 360-degree communication strategy and establish a communications roadmap as well as define the implementation within budget.
Initiate, oversee and manage implementation of all internal communications campaigns and means of communications in order to ensure consistent communication, and successfully deliver to support Marketing.
Prepare reports to track performance of the internal communication strategy and plans implemented for internal clients (Policy, Strategy, CSR & Visitor) and creation of multiple, customized initiatives in order to improve the outcome of designed communications to support increased employee engagement and awareness of policies and procedures.
Manage intranet; content and structure to be aligned with guidelines and engagement objectives.
Provide input to develop, formulate and recommend the budget for the internal communications roadmap and implementation strategy in order to align with corporate strategy and objectives; ensure successful support of communications and revenue KPI achievement.
Maintain budget control and report spends against roadmaps/allocated budget as well as report and flag any irregular spend patterns to relevant stakeholders in order to ensure budget optimization is appropriate and over-spend against allocated and agreed budget does not occur.
Enhance internal customer experience by identifying innovative opportunities to further develop and grow employee engagement in line with du brand values and guidelines to meet du 14 mandates.
Partner with internal teams, external agencies and external providers of communication solutions by proactively, transparently and positively managing overall interaction, solution delivery and engagement with both internal and external partners in order to drive partner excellence in delivering optimized communications campaigns within the given budget and timeline.
Actively develop, manage and maintain a healthy and strategic working relationship with internal and external partners as well as agencies in order to ensure that these extended teams are regularly kept updated and are engaged and driven to support the achievement of the communications strategy within du brand values and guidelines.
Accountable for ensuring simplicity and user-friendliness is affected in all internal communication plans and activities in order to ensure delivery against customer experience mandate through all communications strategy and design.
Maintain focus on employee engagement and (in association with HR) develop and execute plans & programs to achieve set goals
Create measurable and clear objectives in alignment with KPI for direct reports including growth and personal development plans in addition to trainings and coaching plans in order to support positive growth in productivity and employee engagement levels.
Continuously develop and learn own understanding of the business area and products that are at the forefront of technological advances in order to effectively assess incoming business opportunities and asses where new opportunities can be generated.
Develop and agree with direct supervisor on plans to continually build own skills and knowledge by anticipating demands and understanding own strengths and weaknesses.
Actively identify gaps and develop resolutions to propose improvements to processes by working with internal clients (direct reports, HR, OD etc.) and external partners (agencies, etc.) in order to improve working relationships, eliminate bureaucracy and maximize efficiency.
Develop and monitor effected communications in order to deliver the desired message and support internal clients' objectives by reducing/eliminating risks that may occur as a result of delayed/missed/ inaccurate/reactive communication solution provision.

Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelors in degree or higher in Mass Communications/Journalism/PR or related/relevant discipline
Fluency in written English
Experience:
Minimum 4 of experience in a communications role
Sound understanding of communication processes, the UAE market and best practices
Proven and demonstrably successful track record of delivering projects on time and on or under budget
Record of working with culturally diverse employee base and working closely with CEO and C layer
Experience in photography
Skills:
Strong ability to communicate at all levels of an organization as well as with external and internal partners and stakeholders
Good analytical ability and problem assessment skills
Strong leadership, influencing and negotiating ability to drive deliverables
Thorough understanding of the UAE culture and market
