• Job description of a prosthodontics specialist with a medical license in Qatar

We are looking to recruit a motivated and experienced Prosthodontic and Implantologist to examine patients and restore missing, damaged or discolored teeth. The responsibilities of a prosthodontic include identifying and treating the root cause of oral deterioration, repairing dentures, as well as treating facial pain and temporomandibular disorders. You should also be able to advise patients on proper oral hygiene practices. To be successful as a prosthodontic, you must be detail oriented, patient, and able to handle challenging situations. Ultimately, an exceptional prosthodontic professional must demonstrate outstanding communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to ensure that patients receive the highest possible standard of prosthodontic care.

• Responsibilities of the Prosthodontics Specialist:

Examine patients using x-rays and dental tools to determine the type of dental prosthesis required. Consult with patients to discuss their dental concerns and medical history. Taking impressions of patients\' jaws and teeth to determine the dimensions of the artificial teeth to be manufactured. Sending wax models of dental prostheses to the laboratory for manufacturing. Fit newly manufactured dentures into patients\' mouths and assess whether or not adjustments are required. Performing teeth whitening operations to treat external tooth discoloration. Use bonding procedures to repair cracks and chips, fill small gaps between teeth, and resize teeth. Collaborate with dental and healthcare professionals to develop appropriate treatment plans for patients.

• Prosthodontics Requirements:

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). appropriate state license. Board certified for prosthodontics. Proven experience working as a Prosthodontics Specialist. Sound knowledge of fixed and dynamic compensation. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Effective communication skills. Good hand-eye coordination. Detail oriented.
