Position Summary


We are seeking a skilled and proactive Digitalization Engineer to lead the integration of Operational Technology (OT) systems with Corporate IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enabling secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange between control systems and enterprise platforms, supporting ADNOC's digital transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Familiar with secure OT/IT interfaces for control systems (DCS, SCADA, PLCs). Ensure seamless data flow from field devices to enterprise systems (e.g., PI System, ERP, cloud). Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce network segmentation and compliance with standards (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST). Support deployment of digital platforms including historians, OPC servers, MQTT brokers, and edge devices. Troubleshoot and resolve OT/IT communication issues. Coordinate with I&C, IT, cybersecurity, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions. Manage vendors and system integrators during project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or Computer Engineering. Minimum 15 years of experience in OT/IT integration, preferably in oil & gas or industrial automation. Strong understanding of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA/DA, MQTT, PROFINET). Experience with control systems (e.g., Honeywell, Emerson, Siemens, ABB). Familiarity with IT networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs). Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and standards.

Preferred Certifications

ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Certificate Cisco CCNA/CCNP (Industrial or Security) Microsoft Azure IoT or AWS IoT certifications PMP or equivalent project management certification (optional)
