Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate

Specialist Dermatologist

to join our expanding healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our clinic's reputation for excellence. You will diagnose, treat, and prevent conditions related to the skin, hair, and nails, using a combination of clinical expertise and the latest dermatological techniques and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dermatologic consultations, perform examinations, and accurately diagnose a wide variety of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer. Develop and implement customized treatment plans for patients, which may involve prescribing medications (topical or oral) or recommending specialized therapies. Perform diagnostic procedures, such as skin biopsies and other sample collections, and analyze test results. Administer a range of medical and cosmetic procedures, including mole and wart removals, cryosurgery, laser treatments, chemical peels, Botox, and dermal fillers. Monitor patient progress through follow-up appointments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure efficacy and patient satisfaction. Educate patients on proper skincare, preventative measures, and lifestyle choices to promote overall skin health. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including oncologists or plastic surgeons, to provide integrated patient care when required. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within our electronic health record (EHR) system. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements, research, and techniques in dermatology by attending conferences and engaging in continuous professional development.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Licensing:

Valid DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) license as a Specialist Dermatologist, or eligibility to obtain one. DHA or MOH license holders may also be considered.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a practicing Dermatologist, with a strong background in both general and cosmetic dermatology.

Certification:

Board certification in Dermatology is highly preferred.

Skills:

Excellent diagnostic abilities and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interaction. Manual dexterity and an eye for detail when performing procedures. A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
