MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

As a Specialist - Cloud Platform, you shall be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions for our organization. You will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency, security, and scalability. Your expertise in various cloud technologies and services will drive the organization\'s cloud strategy, enabling seamless integration and deployment of applications and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure components (compute, storage, networking) using leading cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP , etc.
- Implement best practices for resource provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and security enhancements to maintain a robust and resilient cloud environment.

2. Application Deployment and Management:
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in the cloud environment.
- Optimize application performance and availability through efficient cloud configurations and monitoring practices.
- Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline application deployment processes.

3. Cloud Security and Compliance:
- Enforce security measures and best practices to protect cloud resources and data from potential threats.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct periodic security assessments and implement necessary improvements to maintain a secure cloud environment.

4. Cloud Architecture and Integration:
- Develop cloud architecture designs that align with business requirements and future scalability.
- Integrate cloud solutions with existing on-premises infrastructure and third-party services.
- Implement and maintain cloud-based APIs and services to enable seamless data exchange and connectivity.

5. Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide technical support to internal teams and stakeholders regarding cloud-related issues and inquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and other cloud-related challenges.

6. Cloud Cost Management:
- Monitor cloud resource usage and implement strategies to optimize costs.
- Analyse billing data and identify opportunities to minimize expenses without compromising performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (or equivalent experience).

Experience Specific Requirements

• Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 9

• Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) \xe2\x80\x93 7

• Proven experience in designing and managing cloud-based solutions in a production environment.

• In-depth knowledge of major cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure setup, configuration, and management.

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

• Preferred certifications \xe2\x80\x93 Azure Devops, AWS architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

ISR Requirements

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
