• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement integration plans and implementation procedures for hardware, software and facilities.
• Develop and clearly write detailed test plans, test procedures, and test result documents.
• Assess software solution performance against stated requirements.
• Identifies, documents, tracks and evaluates test problem reports and test anomalies.
• Develops, selects, tailors and deploys test processes, tools and metrics.
• Responsible for ensuring software compatibility for functional interfaces to ensure a consistent and seamless user experience.
• Responsible for software design and integration of OEM and COTS solutions, including creation of drawings, installation and transition plans.
• Support change management processes, validate software configuration (e.g. drawing trees, parts Lists) during both the pre and post integration phases.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and present software solution material to IPT, project leadership and customer counterparts.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering with focus on Software, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Network Technology.
• 4-10 years experience in SharePoint development and central administration.
• 4+ years experience HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and web technologies such as IIS, APIs and web services.
• Experience in designing, developing and deploying workflows.
• Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with SharePoints application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with C4I technology products or other government/DoD contracts.
• Experience in software testing and deployment of large-scaled IT systems.
• Highly motivated, a self-starter, and be able to operate with little supervision.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization through work in a strong collaborative environment through presentations.
• Knowledge and experience in software test plans and procedures.
• Experience creating Requirements Verification Test Matrix (RVTM) and Verification Cross Reference Matrixs (VCRM)
• Experience creating test documents (Test Plans, Test Procedures, etc.)
• Experience completing Test Readiness and Acceptance Reviews.
• Experience testing software systems and automating test procedures.
• Experience deploying, integrating and testing battle management systems.
• Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
• Excellent writing skills.
