Spa Therapist (Female)

Description
To ensure all treatments are carried out to the highest standards and targets are met. To maintain the five star level of cleanliness, excellent client care and grooming. She is responsible for revenue generation through retail, up selling and cross sales to other business centers in the spa.
Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for equipment, products, cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment areas.
• Ensure aftercare recommendations are made at the end of every treatment, linking with client concerns and offering to prepare products at reception for purchase.
• Encourage clients to return to the spa by recommending an ongoing treatment programmes.
• Maintain a sound knowledge of all treatments, packages and any promotions on offer at any given time.
• Promote and sell the services of the Spa and maximize the potential of all sales.
• Achieve sales targets as set by the hotel.
• Assist with promotions/ demonstrations/ events as required.
• Maintain the stock at the correct level following set standards.
• Keep up the high standard of treatment and service.
• Be punctual and prepared in advance of treatments.
• Ensure that daily sales figures are accurately recorded.
• Ensure that all operational procedures are carried out in the prescribed manner.
• Be adaptable and accountable for all actions.
• Cover reception as and when required.
• Report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
• Pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
• Assist in other areas
• of the hotel as and when required, carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene as per the hotel's grooming standards at all times.
• Maintain a good rapport and working relationship with colleagues in the department and all other departments.

Job Requirements

• Internationally recognized massage certificate
• 2 years spa therapy experience
• Good communication skills
• Should be result & quality driven.
• Ability to handle high volume with attention to detail
• Ability to cope with changing priorities and multiple tasks at the same time
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors
