Job description PURPOSE: To provide and maintain the highest standard of personal appearance, hygiene and guest service, offering quality treatments, providing in depth knowledge and advise in respect of Spa procedures and products. Spa Therapists are to promote positive images of the hotel, being pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests made by guests. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Undertake full assessment of clients\xe2\x80\x99 requirements and suitability of treatments and
- products offered
- Carry out treatments to the highest professional standard
- Undertake reception duties in the Spa and occasionally in Leisure, including cash handling
- Achieve product sales from targets set by the Spa Manager
- Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness are maintained
- Duty of care to ensure the health and safety of themselves and other colleagues
- Attend staff meetings, training session and promotional events which may require working
- outside of normal hours
- Effectively promote spa and beauty treatments to our guests to meet and when possible exceed
- targets for therapist utilization, repeat bookings, and treatments performed
- Up sell treatments and retail to maximize spa sales
- Ensure all spa bookings are made in the most effective and productive manner, maximizing treatment opportunities
- Lead the way by showing willingness to perform treatments and presenting yourself to both staff and guests in full uniform.
- Actively maintain a good knowledge of all spa services and products, Attending spa training sessions and regular refreshment with manuals provided
- Ensure that all agreed targets regarding Key Performance Indicators are achieved
- Ensure that the spa and is presented in excellent visual presentation, taking responsibility for all treatment areas.
- Ensure all standard operating procedures as detailed in the manual are followed accordingly
- Follow all Health & Safety procedure and instructions accordingly and ensure a safe spa and hotel
- Actively report to Manager any issues relating to the operation and ideas for improvements
- Seek direct feedback from guests at all times, reporting feedback to managers, providing the best possible guest service and support
- Display excellent guest service and awareness at all times
- Demonstrate an excellent, overall knowledge of products to advise our guests
- Develop positive working relationships with all team members to encourage teamwork
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with management, the spa team and all other employees
- These are the main accountabilities, however you will be required to carry out other duties which help with the smooth running of overseas operations as designated by the Management
