B. Recurring Duties
Prepare high-quality meals as per the daily menu.
Provide instructions and guidance to Assistant Cooks for mis-en-place and meal preparation.
Ensure all working areas are consistently clean, hygienic, and well-organized.
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment immediately after use.
Utilize ingredients appropriately and ensure minimal wastage.
Work towards reducing waste and increasing productivity and profitability.
Ensure excellent quality of food and service is provided to clients and customers.
Ensure all meals are prepared on time and maintained at the prescribed temperatures.
Assist with any other tasks within the galley area as instructed.
Implement and follow industry best practices and contribute to achieving ISO standards as required by the company.
Actively support management in implementing systems and procedures for service improvement and staff welfare.
Ensure strict adherence to HACCP guidelines and maintain proper documentation.
Follow all Health and Safety Standards to ensure a safe and incident-free workplace.
Adhere to OP 5.7-1 Emergency Preparedness and Response Section 5.15 as applicable.
