Prepare and cook authentic Kerala cuisine, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes (e.g., sadhya, fish curry, biryani, appam, puttu, stew, etc.)
Plan and execute menus for catering events, functions, and special occasions.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, taste, and presentation.
Manage kitchen inventory and ensure timely preparation for events.
Supervise kitchen helpers and coordinate with the catering team.
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a South Indian / Kerala-style cook (preferably in a catering or restaurant setup).
Ability to prepare food in large quantities without compromising on quality.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts based on event schedules.
