  • A novice chef who works under the supervision of chef de parties in commercial kitchens.
  • Expands their culinary knowledge and skills.
  • Performs various kitchen duties, including:
  • Assisting chef de parties in meal preparations.
  • Receiving deliveries and verifying their quality.
  • Rotating stock to maintain freshness.
  • Informing supervisors about malfunctioning kitchen equipment.
  • Organizing deliveries and ensuring proper storage of food items.
  • Basic cleaning and sanitation of workstations.
  • Plating and presenting meal items as directed.
  • Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree, diploma, or certification in culinary arts (advantageous).
  • Food handler\xe2\x80\x99s license.
  • Commercial kitchen experience.
  • Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions1.
  • Indian Curry/Pantry/Halwai Commis:
  • Begins advance preparation for the next day and shift.
  • Ensures proper portion control for all items.
  • Maintains clean and orderly work areas with strict hygiene.
  • Reports maintenance needs to the Sous Chef.
  • Attends associate meetings and trainings
Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to AED1,800.00 per month Ability to Commute:
  • Abu Dhabi (Required)

  • Abu Dhabi: Relocate before starting work (Required)
