Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate

Pizza Chef (Sous Chef - Pizza Specialist)

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

Neapolitan-style pizzas

, with strong expertise in dough preparation, fermentation, and topping assembly.

You will play a key role in ensuring that every pizza meets the authentic standards of quality and taste that define Mo's Kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake pizzas according to customer specifications and Mo's Kitchen standards. Manage dough preparation (mixing, hydration, fermentation, and portioning) to ensure optimal texture and flavor. Prepare fresh toppings and ingredients while maintaining cleanliness and organization. Operate and maintain the pizza oven safely and effectively. Monitor product quality to ensure authentic Neapolitan-style standards are consistently met. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and an excellent dining experience. Assist in inventory and stock management for dough, toppings, and other ingredients.

Qualifications

Proven experience in pizza preparation, especially Neapolitan-style pizzas. Strong knowledge of dough handling, fermentation, and oven operation. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication skills and strong teamwork ability. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Energetic, motivated, and able to work collaboratively within a team. Food handler's certificate or relevant training preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods. Manual dexterity for handling dough and toppings. Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
