Assist the Culinary Director/ Executive Chef in overseeing the operations of the Continental kitchen in the resort's Food and Beverage department

Support the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and maintaining food quality standards.
Supervise and coordinate the preparation of Continental cuisine dishes, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation; Oversee daily hot kitchen activities, managing shift operations and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and brand standards (HACCP).
Supervise, train, schedule, and mentor kitchen staff (line cooks, prep cooks) in cooking techniques, portion control, and sanitation.
Prepare and cook high-quality continental dishes (steaks, sauces, grills, pastas, soups) and create attractive presentations.
Inspect raw ingredients and finished dishes, ensuring consistency, freshness, and adherence to recipes and standards.
Monitor stock, order supplies, manage inventory levels, minimize waste, and control raw material costs.
Collaborate on new menu items, specials, and creative food displays.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Formal culinary training or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques (sauteing, grilling, braising).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Deep understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation (HACCP).
Ability to work under pressure during busy service times.
Salary: AED13,000 up to AED15,000 depending on experience
