Sourcing & Procurement Specialist (Brand Onboarding)

We are seeking a Sourcing & Procurement Specialist with strong FMCG experience and a results-first mindset. The ideal candidate knows how to find the real brand owner/authorized manufacturer, secure RFQs, build landed-cost models, negotiate price/MOQ/terms, and

close deals

. You'll use data, cost scenarios, and compliance know-how to onboard brands quickly and profitably--then coordinate internally to get the first PO landed.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Discovery & Outreach:

Identify brand owners/authorized manufacturers, engage decision makers, and secure RFQs/line sheets.

RFQ & Costing:

Collect quotes (EXW/FOB/CIF), MOQs, lead times, capacity; build landed-cost and margin scenarios (freight, duty/HS code, customs, VAT).

Negotiation & Deal Closure:

Negotiate price breaks, payment terms, lead times, and exclusivity where applicable; finalize agreements and onboarding docs.

Compliance & Documentation:

Coordinate product registrations, MSDS/INCI, labeling, and import rules for UAE/GCC; validate HS codes and shipping methods.

Vendor Management:

Maintain an accurate vendor database and tracker; drive continuous improvements on cost, lead time, and quality.

Cross-Functional Launch:

Hand off final SKUs/prices to pricing, finance, and sales; track first PO to delivery and resolve issues proactively.
Requirements

1-2 years in sourcing/procurement (FMCG, beauty/cosmetics, personal care, F&B, or consumer goods). Proven track record obtaining RFQs and

closing supplier deals

with international brands. Confident negotiator across price, MOQ, payment terms, and lead times. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for landed cost, duty/VAT, and margin modeling. Familiarity with UAE import/compliance and HS code lookups. Excellent communication (written/spoken English); Arabic is a plus. Tools: Google Workspace/Excel;
Nice to Have

Existing network of manufacturers/brand principals in EU/UK/US/Asia. Experience with exclusivity agreements and distributor contracts. Category familiarity: oral care, skincare, beverages, supplements, or household.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary:

AED 3,000 - 4,500 per month

(depending on experience).

Performance-based (deal closures, margin targets, payment terms, lead-time improvements).
