:

In this role, you will be responsible to establish, lead and develop the Sourcing function at a group level across the Miral Experiences group.

Develop and deliver the overall sourcing strategies geared to leverage on group spend, maximize profitability, supplier performance and enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness through the supply chain

Negotiate suitable contracts on a total cost basis to achieve high levels of value for money at minimal risk to the group

Responsible for establishing an innovative and entrepreneurial approach as part of the overall supply chain strategy of Miral Experiences, which is capable of supporting the delivery of perpetual improvement and sustained best practice. Your responsibilities also include the following:
  • Develop and execute the Annual Sourcing Plans focusing upon the creation of a lean and enterprising procurement activity which includes but is not limited to:
  • A core short, medium and long term sourcing strategy roadmap, detailing identified opportunities, projected benefits and probability of realization which is aligned to procurement and business wide objectives.
  • Delivery of increased profitability, supply chain risk mitigation operational effectiveness and security of supply.
  • Assume a lead role in the development of pro-active future demand planning ensuring a business shift from reactive to pro-active planning practices and delivery of associated operational effectiveness benefits.
  • Develop and drive to conclusion, group based procurement initiatives and shared services opportunities with external organizations where appropriate and with maximum value for money output.
  • Assume accountability for the realization of a robust and rationalized supplier base which enables clear identification of supplier classification and categorization and aligned supply security strategies.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of contract based pricing structures minimizing spot buy activity.
  • Establish and manage core operating KPI & analytics reflecting the deliverables of the Annual Plan
  • Delivery of the Sourcing team\'s PR/ PO & RFX KPI targets on time
  • Ensure the standards of work by Sourcing are compliant to the Procurement Policy and best practice
  • Development of Sourcing processes and systems in line with the digitization and data-driven goals
  • Management of the Tender Committee process
  • Ensure adequate training, coaching & mentoring is embedded to enable the continued development of the function as a centre of excellence within the group.
  • Deputize for the Director of Procurement where required and provide timely and effective support which enables the department to realize its objectives
  • Development and management of the Sustainability
  • Personnel management and development of the Sourcing Team members
  • Positive people management of the Sourcing team
  • Positive representation of the Procurement brand
Analysis and Reporting:
  • Develop, manage and interpret a suite of standard reports including weekly and monthly performance dashboards and use as core management tools to control and direct operational activities.
  • Provide a comprehensive and concise monthly report tracking progress against the annual plan, using historical reference, current state and projected future positions aligned to the overall strategies of the department and business.
  • Use all KPI to effectively drive targeted activity, utilizing trend, projection and actual data to accurately report performance.
  • Drive responsibility, accountability and ownership of the entire supply chain through effective reporting mechanism.
Procurement Systems
  • Support the development of procurement systems to achieve best practice, lean and effective operating platforms and report.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree - Business or finance orientated.
  • 8+ years\' Procurement experience of which at least 5 should be in a Strategic Sourcing / Category Management role and 2-3 in a leadership position. Exceptionally strong candidates looking to make the next step up with good supervisory experience may be considered.
  • Successful track record within a progressive sourcing / multiple category management environment
  • Highly experienced and successful Strategic Sourcing Specialist
  • Minimum of 3 years\' experience in a leadership role within a fast paced, complex environment
  • Mature leadership style, with experience in leading diverse teams of varying capability levels
  • Track record of delivering exceptional and sustainable value for money
  • Experienced in using robust and advanced sourcing techniques, including lifecycle costing and total cost of acquisition
  • A strong and effective communicator, using a broad range of techniques to motivate, stimulate and influence teams and individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Experienced in working within a continuous improvement environment
  • Strong ability to deliver concise and meaningful reporting and presentations at all levels
  • Experienced in introducing and developing new procurement technologies.(e-Procurement, e-Auctions, e-Sourcing)
  • Fluent in verbal and written English language
  • Intuitive and flexible with ability to use high degrees of common sense
  • Customer service orientated
Desirable
  • CIPS (or Studying towards)
  • Fluent in Arabic language
